Description
Tax Escape turns every taxpayer's worst nightmare into a fast, funny arcade chase. A whole horde of greedy tax collectors is after your money, and the only way to keep your savings safe is to run. You sprint down busy city streets while the collectors close in from behind, and the road itself is working against you too, because heavy barrels keep rolling across your path. One bad collision won't end the run immediately, but it will slow you down just enough for the pack to catch up.
The controls could not be simpler. Your character runs forward automatically, and all you have to do is tap the screen or click to jump over the rolling barrels. That single input is the whole game, which makes it easy to pick up in seconds. The real skill is timing: leap too early and you land right on top of the next barrel, hesitate for a split second and you clip one and lose your speed. On desktop the same jump works with a quick click or key press.
As your run continues, the pace picks up and the barrels come thicker and faster, often in awkward combinations that punish autopilot jumping. The distance you cover before the collectors finally grab you is your score, so every run becomes a personal duel with your own best record.
A practical tip: watch the street ahead rather than your character's feet, so you can read the gaps between barrels before you commit to a jump. After a hit, resist the urge to mash the next jump immediately; take a breath and re-sync with the rhythm first.
If you enjoy endless runners with a one-button control scheme and a silly sense of humor, this is an easy recommendation. It runs free in your browser on both desktop and mobile, and a single attempt rarely lasts more than a few minutes, which makes it dangerously easy to say just one more run.
